Demo Update 1.2 - Patch notes


Hi everyone!

It's been a bit more than a month since the demo came out adn it's time for a new update.
Thanks so much to everyone who played the demo, keep coming with awesome suggestions and bug reports!

This update is geared towards CPU performance and rat launching, among other things, but down below is a comprehensive list of what is going on:


Patch notes:
· More optimized enemy eyesight for better CPU performance.
· Implemented object pooling in combat events for less CPU spikes.
· Fixed disabling objects by distance to increase CPU performance.
· Fixed shader compilation stutters, hopefully completely (please report if you're a new player).
· Fixed bug that broke the skull weapon on entering no weapon zones.
· Fixed bugs related to restarting the level (no pause menu, no weapon selection).
· Fixed bug where Mouse1 couldn't be rebound.
· Fixed glitches in announcer routine.
· Fixed bug that pushed the bald enemies 10x the regular force.
· Fixed bug where Rat would not attach to the enemy and bug out.
· Fixed bug where Rat would not kill enemies even if their health was lower than 0.
· Enemies now don't mini-teleport after having been under Rat's attack.
· You no longer lose Rat for 20 seconds if the enemy he was attacking is gibbed.
· Made rat throwing faster, and now the time it takes for Rat to reach the enemy is faster overall and tied to the distance to run.
· In a secret, added missing collider and more props to signal a blocked path.
· Removed end of level Main Menu button since it's redundant for the demo.
· Small modifications to allied soldier's walking.
