Darkenstein 3-D Early Access

This is a discontinued branch of Darkenstein 3-D, a year old version of the game with 10 levels.

A retro shooter inspired by the older Wolfenstein and Doom games.

A tribute of sorts, if you like, where I aspire emulate the games I love the most and that requires a certain amount of skill to complete, while adding a few personal and more current-time touches.

The plot is straight forward:
The nazis stole your dog in a raid, you *must* get him back.
As you enter the castle you quickly realize that if you want to find Gunther, you'll have to tear your way through. The german army is great in itself, but they are not alone.

Find the keys and get to the end of the levels. These nazis aren't going to kill themselves...

Stuff you will find in this game:

- Nazis to kill.

- Headshot hitsounds.

- Old school gunplay akin to a wilder RtCW.

- 10 levels that get progressively bigger and harder.

- Many secrets to find in each level.

- A lives system with permadeath.

- A rat companion that will destroy nazi faces.

- Other items like grenades, mines, etc.

- 18 enemy types

- 8 main weapons and 3 secondary weapons

- Fun ragdolls.

- Different enemy factions that can fight each other.

- Classic Wolf3D weapons and some new ones.

- Euro Jank.

Stuff you will not find in this game:

- In-game store or MTX.

- Hitscan enemies.

- Aim down sights.

- Reloading.

This is an early build of the game and is bound to have some problems.
However there should be no game breaking bugs. 

This build contains 10 maps, while the full build is projected to have 12 maps.

Older maps should now work much smoother, except from a few choke points.

CONTROLS:

You can now rebind controls, so this section is obsolete.

Activate button needs proper pressing now, smash it.
